Complete Baccarat Guide – Lapak99's Most Popular Game

Ask any seasoned Lapak99 player and most will tell you baccarat is their live casino game of choice. There's a good reason for that — baccarat combines the simplicity that lets anyone get started within minutes with enough depth to play strategically.

Here's how it works: two "hands" are dealt — one for Banker and one for Player. Each hand receives two or three cards according to fixed rules. The hand closest to 9 wins. You can bet on Banker, Player, or a Tie.

10-value cards and face cards (J, Q, K) count as zero. Aces count as one. If the total exceeds 9, only the second digit counts — for example, a 7 and an 8 make 15, which counts as 5.

Statistically, Banker wins more often — roughly 45.86% of the time versus Player's 44.62%. That's why Lapak99 charges a small 5% commission on Banker wins — yet even with that commission, the Banker bet still carries a lower house edge than Player. From a pure strategy standpoint, consistently betting Banker gives you the best value in the long run.

Reading the Baccarat Roadmap

Every baccarat table at Lapak99 displays a roadmap chart that tracks the results of previous rounds. Many players use this to spot "patterns" — though mathematically, each round is completely independent. More usefully, the roadmap helps you get a feel for the game's rhythm and place your bets with greater confidence.

Blackjack Guide – Use Basic Strategy to Minimise the House Edge

Unlike baccarat or dragon tiger where outcomes are determined automatically by fixed rules, blackjack is a live casino game that truly puts you in the driver's seat. Every hand you play at Lapak99 presents a decision — and whether that decision is right or wrong will determine how much of your money you hold onto in the long run.

Blackjack basic strategy is a complete chart that tells you the mathematically correct decision for every possible hand combination against the dealer's exposed card. It's not insider knowledge — it was calculated by computers and is freely available. The difference is how many players actually use it consistently.

Key examples of basic strategy decisions:

• Always hit when your hand totals 8 or less, regardless of the dealer's card
• Always stand when your hard hand is 17 or above
• Double down on 11 when the dealer's card is 2 through 10
• Always split a pair of Aces and a pair of 8s
• Never split a pair of 10s or a pair of 5s
• Stand on a soft 18 (A+7) when the dealer shows 2 through 8
• Avoid betting on Insurance — it gives the house a 7.7% edge

Extra Tips for Playing Blackjack at Lapak99

Another thing many players overlook is table selection. Lapak99 offers several blackjack variants with slightly different rules. Look for tables that allow double down on any two cards and splitting up to 4 times — these options give you more opportunities to optimise your strategy and get better value out of every session.

Also, remember to claim your Lapak99 bonus before you play. With a larger bonus balance, you can play longer, apply basic strategy with more patience, and avoid rushing into hasty decisions out of fear of burning through your bankroll too quickly.
